WebQA Team Goals

Crucial Projects
These projects must be completed to achieve the above goals.
GOAL: Establish credible apps and identity systems
- Q2 Outcomes:
- Support the release of the Mozilla Marketplace consumer beta, across multiple devices: desktop, native-Android browser, Fennec
- Have basic-functionality coverage (i.e. "happy path") for all consumer-facing pages in Litmus/MozTrap
- Have Selenium automation covering smoketests for consumer pages; the list of tests we will commit to: https://etherpad.mozilla.org/SanityTestforMP
- Plan for and support a high-quality launch of persona.org
- Assume complete ownership of BrowserID Selenium tests, and grow them to cover the following:
- Selenium automation against myfavoritebeer.org and production
- Desktop coverage: Firefox (latest), Chrome, IE 8 and 9
- Mobile coverage: Android (stock browser)
- Tests: log in, log out, change password, add an account
- Support the release of the Mozilla Marketplace consumer beta, across multiple devices: desktop, native-Android browser, Fennec
GOAL: Grow Mozilla
- Q2 Outcomes:
- Help ensure the high-quality launch of the Kuma-based MDN, enabled 100% live, in production
- Mozilla.org/Firefox: support key product pages and functionality by converting and augmenting existing automation
- Have dedicated QA coverage for Air Mozilla and supports its successful launch
