To set up a new ESR branch:

  • file a bug to clone mozilla-beta to mozilla-esr{next} (eg: bug 721539
  • follow bug 717106 for what was done to set up mozilla-esr10
  • make sure the patch in bug 737535 is landed to the new esr branch to turn off the what's new page
  • file an IT bug for a new approval-mozilla-esr{next} flag, as well as status-mozilla-esr{next} and tracking-esr{next}
