FAQ
Where do I start?
- If you are already familiar with IRC just join the #seneca channel on the irc.mozilla.org server.
- If you are not familiar with IRC Go to your favorite IRC client:
- Connect to irc.mozilla.org -- In most clients, this is done by typing /server irc.mozilla.org and hitting Enter.
- Join the #seneca channel -- In most clients, typing /join #seneca will get you into the channel.
Ok, I am in the channel, now what?
Let's go straight to the test cases in Litmus:
1. Go to http://litmus.mozilla.org/ 2. Click on Log In and follow the instructions to create an account. 3. Once the account is created select to run tests. 4. Select the following from the drop-down menus: Product(Firefox); Platform(Windows or your current OS); Operating System(Windows XP, for instance); Branch(2.0 Branch); locale(en-US); Build ID(2007021917) 5. Click Submit
At the top you should see a table with test groups. 1. Select 2.0 Surf's Up - A Fun Smoketest 2. You should see the Common Operations subgroup selected. 3. Click Submit
Now you should see the list of test cases, each with instructions on how to run them. Test away!

How do I file bugs?
First of all, let one of the moderators know so they can check if it is already a known problem. Then they can guide you to either provide more details, update an existing bug or file a new bug. If filing a new bug, please do a quick check to see if the bug already exists. This can easily be done by searching for the error message, window name, or some over identifing feature of the bug.
How do I send feedback?
Please use the [2] to send feedback about how the testday went, any overall thoughts about the Test Case writing day, and roll up of issues found and bugs filed. We really appreciate your help today and your feedback is very valuable.
