Labs/Weave
Weave Project
What Is Weave?
Weave is a Mozilla Labs project to integrate web services into Firefox by allowing users to securely share their data with other users and 3rd parties. As such, the Weave encompasses a Firefox add-on, a server component, data sharing APIs, etc.
All software released as part of the Weave project is currently considered to be in the early prototype stage, so use it at your own risk.
You can read more about Weave in the original announcement, "Introduction to Weave," as well as the Weave Forums.

FAQ
No email?
If you've created an account but have not received an email confirmation, please check your spam folder. If you still do not see anything, go back to [3] and click on the link to resend the confirmation email. We are still working on issues with the email registration component.
Download link?
You must have a confirmed and validated account before you can use Weave. If you need to download the prototype again, or to install it on a second computer, you can download it here.
How often does it connect?
After the initial data transfer is completed during your first use, Weave connects to the server every 30 minutes or when you click on the "Sync Now" button in the Weave menu or the preferences.
This doesn't seem like its as polished as other Mozilla products?
Mozilla Labs is about open shared exploration and experimentation to evolve new concepts or ideas, not for driving early adoption of beta products. All are welcome to participate, so please do join us. This is an early prototype and version 0.1 of what will eventually become Weave. Every project has to start somewhere. In particular, note that the user interface and the entire installation and setup routine is temporarily and was hacked together to enable testing only. Much work is still required for a polished, seamless and smooth startup flow.
Source code?
As with all Mozilla projects, Weave is open source. For more information on the source code, please see this forum post.
