Overall goal of the project

• allow people to plan mozilla parties, the second version of firefoxparty.com

Pre-requisites

• tech: mysql/php/cake, mozillaparty.com (currently owned by rflint)
• capacity: We expect around 700 parties to be planned, with possible digg'ing
• staffing: IT people to deploy/stage code
• monitoring: basic responsiveness checks
