This page documents the current Thunderbird UX team, and can be used to find people for UI-reviewing.

UX Authority Structure

The authority of each person's ability to ui-review something is somewhat unofficial, but in essence it follows a hierarchy (1 having the most authority, 5 the least):

1. UX Lead - Blake Winton (:bwinton)

2. Theme Owners - Andreas Nilsson (:andreasn), Richard Marti (:Paenglab)

3. Theme Peers - Josiah Bruner (:JosiahOne)

4. Appointed Others - Jim Porter (:squib)

5. Active Members of the Community

Finding someone for UI-Review

If you want (or have been requested) a ui-review from someone, consider the following details on each person before flagging them.

Blake Winton: Highest authority, can override all UX decisions. Generally the busiest, so ui-review turnaround may be slower.

Andreas Nilsson: Not very active, flag if necessary, but re-assign the review if you get no response within a week or so.

Richard Marti: Fastest choice for Windows and Linux ui-reviews. Works primarily in those areas.

Josiah Bruner: Fastest choice for OS X ui-reviews. Works primarily in that area.

Jim Porter: Feel free to flag.

Active Members of the Community: Only flag someone in this area if you are pretty sure your UI change is so trivial that no one would disagree with the reviewer.
