Previous Action Items

• Callek to followup on ant install - bug 971841
  • Between Callek Simone and blassey's hard work we now have a working run on try, successfully building geckoview_example. Over the next day Callek will develop a releng-side patch to make this officially work.

Status reports

Android 2.3 emulator

  • Hoping {C,X,rc} ready for trunk tomorrow
    • ...and {M} soon (need to resolve webgl madness bug 984523)

Autophone

• Current results
  • Fairly caught up on backfilling results.
  • Need to evaluate reproducibility and validity of remote tests using ppp/adb usb networking.
    • Will retest an 'interesting' day since 2014-03-13 to see if the results are replicable.
• Need to find a replacement Autophone linux server to run tests as running it on my workstation is interfering with my other work.
  • Attempted to get Autophone running on ~2007 Mac mini, but was unable to get Linux installed after repeated attempts. It only had 1G of ram anyway, so not much of a loss.
  • Will evaluate an older Thinkpad with 1.5G of ram. Concerned about usb throughput but it might be able to handle a low number of phones.
• Moar phones
  • Stalled until I can get Autophone off of my workstation.
• Is Autophone useful or should it be killed?
  • Answer will depend on reproducibility of the usb networking results and if the local tests alone are useful.
  • Questions:
    • Are the local tests alone sufficient reason to keep Autophone running?
    • Are the remote tests a requirement?
