BMO Reorg Phase 2

This page contains a list of the changes for the second phase of the bugzilla.mozilla.org reorganization of summer 2008.

Changes To Make

  • Move "Networking: IMAP" from Core to "MailNews: Core" (Joshua Cranmer, m.d.planning).
  • Move "Networking: POP" from Core to "MailNews: Core" (Joshua Cranmer, m.d.planning)
  • Move "Networking: SMTP" from Core to "MailNews: Core" (Joshua Cranmer, m.d.planning)
  • Move "Networking: News" from Core to "MailNews: Core" (Joshua Cranmer, m.d.planning)
  • Merge "Places" into "Bookmarks & History" (gavin, dietrich, bug 451915)
  • Rename "GFX: Thebes" to "Graphics" (vlad, bug 446687)
  • Move the following from "Core" to "Core Graveyard": "GFX", "GFX: Win32", "GFX: Mac", "GFX: BeOS", "GFX: Gtk", "GFX: Photon", "GFX: OS/2", "GFX: Xlib", "Widget: Xlib" (vlad, bug 446687).
  • Rename "pt-BR / Brazilian" to "pt-BR / Portuguese (Brazil)" in Mozilla Localizations (justdave, bug 449341 resolved INVALID, but Axel supports).
  • Rename "sv / Swedish" to "sv-SE / Swedish" in Mozilla Localizations (newsgroup comments)

Missed The Boat

  • Rearrange the IT and RelEng components in some way (no concrete proposal yet)
  • Rename "Selection" to "Selection and Caret" (Uri Bernstein, newsgroup)
