• IE migration rewrite landed: fixes tons of bugs, supports new versions of IE, converted lots of C++ to JS, uses async Places APIs, removed much XPCOM. (bug 710895)
• Safari migration rewrite landed: fixes bugs, supports Safari on newer Mac as well as Windows, converted lots of C++ to JS, uses async Places APIs, removed much XPCOM. (bug 710259)
• Now only capturing thumbnails for the selected tab, instead of all tabs in the background. (bug 744152)
• Use morelazy service/module loading in Session Restore. (bug 745342, bug 732292)
• Deprecate old style guids, another blocker of async api usage. (bug 715355)
• Converted to async favicon API in bookmarks import. (bug 728174)
• Converted to async favicon API in Panorama. (bug 728142)
