Summary

This documents the best practices for organizing a testday event. It is meant as an effort to modernize the old testdays checklist.

Prep

  • Create an event plan
  • Ensure tutorials (wiki/video/etc) are in place to assist in mentorship
  • Solicit for volunteers to provide mentorship

Minimum

  • QMO event blog post, syndicated to Planet
  • Message to dev-quality mailing list linking to QMO post for more details
  • Post via twitter (ask colleagues to retweet it)
  • Post to Mozilla QA Facebook page
