New Add-on Packaging Spec

Overview

This specification is a Google Summer of Code project, to be implemented by Hebert Duarte during the summer of 2010.

The objective of this project is to come up wih a new packaging system that is simpler than its predecessor, that allows developers to create simple add-ons with as little overhead and required learning as possible. Also, the new packaging system should still allow complex add-ons to be developed, and should support all non-obsoleted features from the current system.
