This bug day is focused on Bugzilla itself -- the tool that anyone can download and install. "Upstream" Bugzilla is slightly divergent from Mozilla's own implementation of Bugzilla: bugzilla.mozilla.org, or BMO. (Of course, if you would like to work on BMO bugs you are very welcome to do so!)

What to do

- Make an account at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org.
- Add yourself to this wiki page.
- Pick some bugs from the lists below.
- Add useful information to them.
- Record the bugs you poked in the etherpad or in this page.
Improving bugs to make them more useful
We will be working to improve and organize existing bug reports. Please add whatever detail you can to the bugs you pick. Here are some possible details to include.
- First, read the bug and try to understand it.
- Record detailed steps to reproduce the bug. (STR: steps to reproduce)
- Note what hardware and software you're using.
- Add a url that is affected by the bug.
- Does the bug happen in other browsers?
- Ask the bug reporter for more info?
- If you need to ask the original reporter a question, use the needinfo flag.
- For crashes: Can you attach error logs or crash report id information from about:crash?

- Can you narrow down a regression range?
