Developer Engagement Plan for Devtools
With the current release of Firefox we now have Developer tools baked into the browser. This document outlines ideas and plans how to promote these above and beyond the release notes of Firefox. The devtools team run their own blogs, create presentation materials and there is a weekly sync-up with the devengage team.

- Ongoing coverage of developers tools on DevEngage channels: Hacks.mozilla.org
- Retweet of devtools team tweets via mozhacks and personal twitter streams
- Preparation of screencasts and demos
- Integration of developer tools in other screencasts, demos and presentations
- Promotion of the team posts on social media
Coverage of devtools in release notes of Firefox

Developer messages:
- Firefox has built-in developer tools that make the browser a development platform
- We encourage Firebug users to try out the new tools and tell us what they think
- We need bugs to be filed in order to continously improve the tools
