What is FISL

FISL is an event sponsored by Associação Software Livre (Free Software Association), a Brazilian NGO that promotes free software adoption and contribution. This will be the 9th year of FISL and the conference has grown to over 5,000 participants. It takes place every year in Porto Alegre, the capital of Rio Grande Do Sul, the most southern state of Brazil. FISL draws FOSS contributors, students, researchers, IT professionals, government officials and more.

Mozilla Workshop on April 18th

The workshop will take place from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. on April 18th in Room 302, Bloco B, Building 30 of The Engineering School. Please sign up!

Mozilla developers and contributors, as well as people looking to get involved, will have a dedicated room to hold talks and sessions. Our schedule is now posted, but we'll have an "unconference" session at the end of the day for people to provide demos and suggest topics. FISL:Workshop
