Practical Information
FOSSasia 2015 is taking place in Singapore, from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th March. See http://fossasia.org/ Mozilla's presence at FOSSasia is organized as a Mozilla Reps Event.
Registration
As a Free event, no formal registration is needed to attend FOSSAsia. If you are a Mozilla Rep or have an Mozillians.org profile, you can say you are attending on the Event page.
Sponsorship for Travel and Accommodation
For budgeting reasons, we can only sponsor 8 Reps, that will be leading the booth, and also are speakers at the Mozilla track.
All sponsored Reps will be covered Travel and Accommodation, as also expenses at Singapore.
Mozilla staff (including speakers) who are interested in attending FOSDEM must book their own travel and hotel.
Mozilla Track
For the first time, we will have a Mozilla track with 13 talks and 6 workshops. You can find more info about our schedule in the event Webpage
Mozilla Booth
There will be a booth manned by Mozilla volunteers in the exhibitors area. The goal is three-fold:
- to evangelize and answer questions
- to recruit new volunteers;
- distribute merchandise.
We also would have some activities like a Firefox OS flash station, a Firefox Clinic, and some surprises.
If you are a Mozillian and want to help at the booth, please contact Francisco Picolini or William Quiviger.
In general, if you notice that someone has been at the stand for a while, please don't hesitate to switch places with him/her! Also, please help to keep the place clean and tidy!
