- Notable bugs within the week:
- Steps to reproduce from bug 424719 helped to find a new Regression and caused a Respin for Beta 5 bug 425289
- bug 424901 – Firefox Debug Build hangs on shutdown when i use the Bookmarks Preview Extension. Status: New. Affects bug 420187
- bug 426329 – Search box - pressing enter does nothing. Status: Resolved Fixed
- bug 425593 – Print failure: 'Some printing functionality not implemented yet' message. Status: Verified Fixed
- bug 425010 – checkbox text missing, feed subscription controls do nothing. Status: Verified Fixed
- bug 426260 – Yahoo mailto handler needs to decode RFC 2368. Status: New, fixed on yahoo side
- bug 426275 – crash on clear private data (history) [@ nsNavHistoryExpire::ClearHistory]. Status: New, relnoted
- Status on topcrashes
- We tracked 19 top crashes in beta 4. Of those, several were caused by other extensions and plugins. Of the remaining, about 5-6 were fixed (for some topcrashes, we only fix specific known cases of it, which doesn't necessarily fix other cases but lowers the topcrash). Many others have been analyzed and are at various stages of getting fixed.
Only a few users are using b5 right now, but there's already a couple of new topcrashes to investigate. I'll (ss) have bugs on file with some analysis of these new crashers and an updated Topcrashes page by the end of the day. (Ted comes in #6 [@ nsCrasher::Crash() ] with his awesome Crash Me Now! extension.)
