Welcome to Mozilla Foundation Metrics, where we use numbers to make better decisions.

MoFo Metrics: Who and what is this?

If you're new to this page, the Mozilla Foundation (MoFo) is one part of the Mozilla Project. This page is about our metrics work, what we have planned, and how you can get involved.

  • It's a reference for Mozilla Foundation staff, and anyone in the community who is interested
  • We have a Community Mailing List, or you can contact: Adam Lofting, Metrics Lead (adam [at] mozillafoundation [dot] org)

Where is the work tracked?

  • Most metrics work is now tracked against the Github repository of the related project, using Github issues.
  • New MoFo projects are initiated through build.webmaker.org
    • This process includes metrics requirements and QA
  • If you want to file a ticket, but aren't sure where to start **use the mofo-metrics repository** and I'll make sure it gets to the right place

How to get involved

You don't have to be an expert. Just let us know if there's something you'd like to explore, try, or learn. Together we can find things to work on that can help you and Mozilla.

Tickets

Right now it's hard to get a single list of Metrics related tickets, because these are spread across many Github projects.
