Firefox 3.0.2 Release

looking at 8 locales
bg not likely to make it as still many issues outstanding of material nature
need to document or find a better way to communicate our QA process for releases, to be discussed offline or in another session
if possible to wait until Friday for remaining locales on web parts that would be great, if not, we can release and some will have some english boxes

Firefox 3.1

would like to send out communication about beta as it will be a localized release
Seth would like this communication to be done in a way that addresses some of feedback received at Summit
Beltzner would like to have people explicitly opt-in even when their tree is green
- Team discussed possible other options for opt-in process, check out http://developer.flock.com/wiki/L10n:Grackle_l10n_release_status
- we'd like to do something similarly possibly or make it easier, clearer for localizers to know if they are a candidate, what's blocking them and sign off by them that they do want to be included
- Action: Sethb dig up design spec on dot.planning; what resources we need and how find them for making this better
