Project updates

Mozilla.org

Pascal:

  • 15 years of Mozilla campaign via the contribute page is done, the 6 targetted locales were released and we added 2 more (de and zh-CN).
  • 45 locales have translated the strings for the new download buttons, that's the first step (anf biggest blocker) to migrate to newer download pages on bedrock. I am pinging people individually now. A *lot* of the laggards are those working now on Dwayne's server.
  • New in-product page, Firefox health Report, will be released tomorrow. Initial plan was maybe a handful of locales with Engish if possible. We have 28 ready, so we more than did the job.
  • Maintenance work around string changes around State of Mozilla that impact l10n, took that opportunity to clean up bugs there and close many bugs for locales that will never do it.

Pascal:

  • Philippe started contributing again on Transvision, Jesus is at full steam adding features, we have another new volunteer from Morrocco that will start hacking on Friday. The next new feature will be the possibility to open bugs for badly translated strings from Transvision so as to use the tool during QA sprints (which I am thinking of having Delphine organize if she is interested).
  • Fixed bugs in my local instance of C3PO and added the feature of filing bugs also on the localization component
