Platform
H264
Owner: Jason (CAF doing testing)
- Latency issues are fixed. Also, Sony has not come back with 8926 + WebRTC plans, so not tracking necessary DSP changes there. Will cross that bridge when we need to.
MSISDN
Owner: Martijn Wargers
- MSISDN mochitests checked in (Bug 1022181)
- Initial test plan for manual testcases: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Loop/QA/MSISDN_testplan#MozTrap_Test_Cases_added
Performance
Owner: Geo Mealer (FxOS) [need a co-owner]
- No significant internal change since last week; email thread currently happening trying to identify tools/info for partner to do checks from their side.
Privileged API
Owner: Jason Smith
- Involved in discussions around https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1026167 to build consensus on what passes certification, meets UX & eng needs
- Audio channel support not finished for telephony
Tokbox
Owner: Nils Ohlmeier
- TokBox sends us now call success/failure statistics in emails - unfortunately the numbers are not correct yet
- Still ongoing investigations for the root cause for the call failures - we received new evidence this week (long delays between two API calls)
Desktop
Owner: Anthony Hughes
- no updates this week
Firefox OS - TEF Update
Owner: Jason Smith
- Loop Testing - What are we blocked on vs. not blocked on?
- Blocker - can't do calls across different wifi networks (server-side)
- Blocker - Server downtime issues occasionally (server-side)
- Loop top-level testing active, slowly adding more coverage as more server-side issues get unblocked
Server
Scalability
Owner: James Bonacci
- Tons and tons of bugs in Loop and MSISDN; therefore, re-deployments and re-testing. No major movement in size/scaling of Production right now. OPs is keeping flexible on Prod scale, logging, and dashboards (metrics) as we stabilize the Stage environments...
