Goal of the Referral Contest

Increase registration in the Firefox Student Ambassador program from countries where we are launching Firefox OS in 2013. Currently, in this campaign we are looking to recruit members to join us from the following countries:

• Poland
• Spain
• Venezuela
• Colombia
• Brazil
• Mexico
• Hungary
• Czech Republic
• Montenegro

NOTE: We strongly encourage you to refer students from all over the world to join Firefox Student Ambassadors. However, for this contest, only successful referrals from the countries listed above will contribute towards your overall number of referrals (and help you earn rewards!).

Who is Eligible to Participate

Only registered Firefox Student Ambassadors are eligible to participate. If you are not a registered Firefox Student Ambassador, please become one here

Participation Timeline

The Referral Contest will take place from August 8th until August 21st. Please see a break-down of the timeline below.

Today - August 8th (Get Registered)

• The deadline to enter has now passed.

• On August 8th you will be emailed an identification code that those whom you refer to the program will be able to use so that you get credit for the referral.

August 8th - August 21st (Get Started)

• On August 8th, start utilizing your social media, email, website, and other communication channels to ask your friends in Spain, Poland, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Montenegro to sign-up for the program from August 8th - August 21st (as a reminder, please remember who is eligible to sign-up for the program here). To help you - here are some sample social media posts.

August 21st (Contest Ends)

The contest officially ends on August 21st at 12 Midnight (Pacific time).

August 28th (Winner Announced)

On August 28th, the winner of the contest will be emailed and announced over our social media channels (as well as in our September newsletter).

How to Get Credit for Referrals

IN ORDER TO GET CREDIT FOR YOUR REFERRALS TO THE PROGRAM, YOU WILL NEED TO ASK THOSE WHO YOU REFER TO DO THE FOLLOWING TWO THINGS:
