Thunderbird 3.1 (Lanikai)

  • We've added a beta 2 and moved string freeze/code freeze to that.
  • UX/Feature work being driven from Thunderbird:UX/Priorities/3.1; however, only some things on that page are blockers
  • Bug lists: Thunderbird:Thunderbird3.1:Status_Tracking
    • Old bugs all triaged; two-state blocking flags are now gone
    • clarkbw and dmose went through main UX blockers; will try and get remaining driving work ironed out by end-of-day Thursday

Lanikai Alpha 1

  • Shipped (W00t!)
  • Still not enough users. rebron to drive separate trunk page.

Thunderbird 3.0.2

  • See Schedule above - Starting builds today.
  • Generally smaller amount of fixes than 3.0.1, but still improving user experience for upgrades and stability.

Thunderbird 3.0.3

  • No schedule yet (waiting for gecko 1.9.1.next schedule)
  • Expect stability fixes plus a few more feedback/upgrade-focused fixes.

QA Updates

done :

  • Held our weekly event last week
  • Tested 3.0.2 - results are green with 95% coverage. Thanks to Remco for his help testing Litmus
  • Made sure bug 536667 was fixed on 2.0.0.24 builds

To do :

  • 3.1b1 test day - Needs some developer's input
  • Finish preparing the litmus coverage for 3.1b1
  • Talk to _Tsk_ if you're interested in helping out with Litmus help!
