Background

I'm a Mozilla employee by day, working as a Release Manager with a focus on Firefox Desktop and Mobile. I also organize outreach and networking events to help bring under-represented populations into technology whether through teaching programming, web development, and other open tech tools or just by holding events with a purpose of heightening awareness and celebrating the presence of those groups in tech.

I'm interested in intersections of technology, feminism, social justice activism, and art. I want to always be working on ways to help people understand and use open web technologies to help them improve their lives.

Community Diversity is very important to me and I am part of building up a program at Mozilla that would help all participants in the project gain awareness and educate themselves about the importance of both striving for and maintaining diverse teams in working on the Mozilla mission.
