Maker Party 2013 Partner Kit
This page is for partners to find out how to get more involved with Maker Party 2013.
About the Maker Party
What is it? A big tent with more than 40 partner organizations joining the Maker Party and carrying out making-and-learning activities across the globe. Like Mozilla, these organizations are part of a growing movement to teach the web and promote the maker spirit with hands-on learning.
Why Mozilla loves you! Our network of Partners is critical to growing this movement: there is no way any one organization can do this on its own.
What is Mozilla ready to do to help you? We've built an improved webmaker.org (launching June 15th) with new features designed for making and learning on the web. As well, we plan to build out this Partner Kit to include:
- Promoting your organization on webmaker.org/party
- Promoting the events you enter on our site & social media
- Connecting you with your peers by adding you to our heat map
- Providing Press templates/kits for doing your own outreach
- Providing Instructions/Kits on how to hold an event
- Helping you to create personalized Makes using our tools that meet your needs
