I think qwebirc is a fine fast, easy to use, free and open source IRC client.

I use it all the time for mozilla channels supported by mozilla-tunisia.

Is the [LC webchat] recommended for use by the Mozilla Community?

At a minimum they should update their expired StartCom certificate, which expired 2013-06-06.

I removed the IRC_LC section. Cert is indeed expired, and the instructions given are for how to embed it in an iframe, not how to use it as an end-user, which is what this page is intended for.--Justdave (talk) 18:58, 22 August 2013 (PDT)

What is the difference between "Password-protecting your nickname" and "Registering"? If there is one, please explain. If not, the "Registering" section can probably be deleted.

Yeah, except every time I did, I got "Error 504: Site failure: Timeout". Tonymec (talk) 16:54, 3 October 2014 (PDT)
