Ideas for 10th Anniversary Air Mozilla Episodes

3/31 Special Edition of Air Mozilla

Format:

• Pre-produced segment of Mozilla Memories from FOSDEM & global offices.
  • Follow-up:
    • Meeting to review Seth's footage from FOSDEM with Rainer (Seth - can you set up?)
    • Post call for Mozilla Memories on YouTube (Asa: can you post to your blog about this? We will eventually have a site for people to upload these, but we'll need to start collecting them. They can be tagged MozillaAnniversary)
    • Follow up with Li, Chibi and Tristan for a greeting (Mary)

• Live Q&A with Mitchell, Brendan and Chofmann, moderated by Asa Dotzler
  • Follow up:
    • Invite Mitchell, Brendan and Chofmann --> Asa
    • Draft questions --> Asa

• Broadcast Code Rush or segments
  • Follow up: Mary to check with legal on this.
  • marcia suggests recording sound bites to stream underneath the Code Rush Video (rainer, marcia - need camera for this to record soundbites)
  • Mitchell would like to pull a few segments for 3/31 and have folks comment on them.
  • Mary is in touch with PBS finally!! Suzanne Romaine (rights/usage contact for all KTH productions) is traveling until 3/20.

Mozilla Memories

• Set up a conference room in Building K where individuals can come in and answer these questions into the camera:
  • What is your name and how did you get started in the Mozilla project?
  • What is your fondest Mozilla memory?
  • What is the first word that comes to mind when you think of open source?
  • Who do you look up to in the Mozilla community.
  • What would you like to see Mozilla accomplish in the next 10 years.
  • What encouragement would you have / would you say to those thinking about getting involved with Mozilla?
• We can use this footage for:
  • Filler for Air Mozilla broadcast on Anniversary date
  • Possible footage for a future documentary on Mozilla
