Status

• Notes are short today since some topics covered in Monday's meeting 3/28
• Backend work mostly done. Margaret assigned to front-end piece. We already have an initial patch ready.
• Marketing/press met with Christian and Rob Sayre on Monday - we have a plan forward there.

Next Actions

• Sheila - see the bugzilla issue to some resolution.
• Sheila & Laura - meet with Daniel about metrics issues.
• Sheila - tracking Socorro changes to display new channels.
• Rob Sayre and Christian - blog posts to go out on Thursday.
• Christian - own coordination and communication with rel eng (so nobody is confused).
• Laura - string description of the channel to have in the UI. Need something consistent.
• Laura - talk to Rob Strong about how the new logos will fit with the bundles.

Notes

• Now a public meeting - QA and others involved so lots of additional questions
  • Mevens - process, how QA is going to work.
  • Jesse - many things on the list that haven't reached consensus. Heard from rel eng that things are confusing.
  • Many people bringing in tangential issues.
  • Need to focus on issues that block us from getting to an experimental channel. We will not solve all problems, just the ones that get us to the next stage, work out the others later.
  • juanb - what's the ehavior of the updater. Margaret/Rob Strong are the main contacts. Sheila will send feature page to juan.
• sumo/input - they are working on a write-up for what is expected for each channel.
• Logos and names for each channel - almost there. Christian doesn't like the name "nightly". He will take it offline with Mayumi.
• Mayumi sent around an excel spreadsheet with value props.
• Rob Sayre and Christian's blog posts will talk about names - posts due thursday.
• Repo will not be setup so people won't get updated - just communicating the plan.
• Mercury channel (experimental) will be in place apr 12th.
• Press/marketing communications - newsletter, website changes - probably not this week.
• Christian - should go to the community a bit first - names not set in stone
• Rob Sayre - talk to rob strong and figure out how the logos will fit with the bundles
• Bugzilla - some discussions on the list - Sheila will own getting this to some kind of a resolution.
• Margaret - talked to Limi about having a string description of the channel - should be consistent - Laura Mesa will take this as a todo.
• Blogs and communications
  • Christian - draft blog post by the end of today - reviewed by erica.
  • Rob Sayre - blog ready tomorrow morning 8:00am - reviewed by erica before we post them.
  • Don't need to have the posts this week but want to share this with the community - want to show that we have a plan.
