Status

• Rob Strong - patches ready but waiting for review by Dolske. Spoke to Sayre about logos, naming, strings.
• Branches - we will have some repo setup on the 12th.
• Branding - art work is almost done and need someone to do the branding. Gavin will take this.
• Margaret - ZUL, CSS pieces are all working and good - waiting on Gavin to review.
• In product artwork needs to reflect the right logo - Laura Mesa and Margaret talking about this.
• User strings - Laura Mesa to get for Margaret by end of day.

• Are the list of channels hardcoded? Yes, for now.

• AUS
  • Need to have AUS understand that we are changing channels
  • Is there an AUS bug we need to file
  • Rob S will file a bug for morgamic. Rob Helmer might be able to help.

• Localization issue
  • Locales are not necessarily going to follow all the branches.
  • Localizers will get harassed by users when localization isn't in place.
  • BSmedberg - not too worried about this.
  • Christian - talked to Axel and he wasn't too worried.
  • Nothing about this issue blocks our work for Tuesday.
  • JP - can't we warn them that they might lose their localizations? JP - will file a bug for that. Not worry about this for now.

• Marketing
  • Laura will send sheila the marketing bugs to add to the feature page.
  • Laura to get the strings to Margaret.
  • Issue around where beta users go - need a separate discussion.

• Add on compatibility messaging
  • fligtar working on this - assume problems on first round.

• Version numbers
  • Christian working on proposal that will go out later today.

• Blogs
  • 2 posts (Christian, Rob Sayre) going out on Thurs (tomorrow).
  • Rob S sending to Mayumi for review.
  • More posts on Tues when the channel is ready.

• Naming
  • 2 definitions of Aurora
  • Aurora - roman goddess of the dawn - hence logo

  • There are several options for Tues
  • We will pick one

  • Still closing on a proposal
  • Need to get that wrapped up today so work can be done.

• Plan and Logistics for next week
  • Follow up meeting on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri next week to look at problems.
  • Use 11:30am triage spot to use to discuss issues - Tues, Wed, Thurs.
  • Go/No decision Tues then push Aurora on Wed.
  • Matt - QA will sanction a change set
  • Merge will happen on Tues - build to push out probably Wed - Rob Sayre - take that action to figure out how long this will take.
