Drumbeat/Website/Roadmap

< Drumbeat
We don't have a defined roadmap yet. Here are some:
Ideas For Discussion
- Upgrade Drumbeat to Drupal 7 (Mike H suggests holding off for several months after release. Important modules are backported to 6.)
- I agree we should let the code base mature for a few months also i need to upgrade OG Forum / Flickr modules on D.o :-)
- How to sanitize the database for development on a local server
- +1 [Booker]
- How to create install profile - some features should be optional
- How to leverage base theme functionality - some features are specific to the theme
- Getting Selenium working for functional testing. There is a fair amount of AJAX we need to account for.
- +1 [Booker]
- Creating an install profile to make it simple to set up a local copy of the site.
- Creating an EC2 AMI with memcached preconfigured.
- +1 [Booker]
- Deploying SSL
- +1 [Booker]
- What functionality do we currently get from CiviCRM? I would like to get a better understanding of how critical a component this is for Drumbeat. As far i know we only use CiviCRM for accepting donations if that's true we could probably use some third party service. I have very little experience with CiviCRM so i thought i would just ask the question since most of our problems with setting up a local Drumbeat server are connected with CiviCRM [Booker]
