Project overview

Create an awesome welcome experience for Facebook users when visiting the Firefox page. Invite them to Like the page and also provide some quick ways to participate with Mozilla and Firefox.

Goals/success metrics

• Goal: Increase the number of new fans viewing our page by 15%
• Metric: Conversion rate of new visitors who Like our page

Requirements

Phase 1 (Q2 2011):

• Landing tab warmly welcomes Firefox users and encourages them to Like the page
• Design is based on the mozilla.com style
• Tab includes 1-3 calls to action (eg: download Firefox, sign up for newsletter, learn more about Mozilla)

Phase 2 (Q4 2011):

• Add localization support and have each locale customize the landing experience for their users
