Who We Are
Engagement is what we call marketing at Mozilla. And, just like everything else, it’s not entirely traditional. We focus on building relationships with individuals, organizations and developers around the world to fuel our mission and help get our products into users' hands. It's our job to communicate the values of Mozilla and our products, and rally the world. We do this with product marketing, brand, events, design, communications, competitive insights, community outreach and more.
We're also joined by 400 Mozilla Reps and other Mozilla volunteers around the world to help promote Mozilla, our products and contribution opportunities.
Take a look at our teams, what we do, and how to get in touch.
Where can you find us?
The easiest way to send a message to Engagement is in one our community mailing lists, such as our marketing list.
We also have several IRC channels for specific teams or projects you can view in our complete IRC channel list.

- Get involved and contribute to Mozilla
In 2016, Mozilla Marketing is moving to an "agile marketing" structure, that involves cross-functional "durable" teams, focusing on specific enduring challenges.
Here are pages for some of the teams:
|Team Lead: Mary Colvig||Mailing List: rainbow-unicorns at mozilla.com|
|The Lifecycle Marketing team builds relationships with people through events, advertising, in-product communications and email to grow Firefox usage and increase understanding of Mozilla. We’re responsible for engaging audiences with what we do and why we matter; and equipping and enabling other teams to do the same.|
|Brand Strategy and Services|
|Team Lead: Mary Ellen Muckerman||Mailing List: branding at mozilla.com|
|We are a group of thinkers and makers dedicated to refining and growing the voice of Mozilla in the world.|
|Team Lead: Erica Jostedt||Mailing List: press at mozilla.com|
|The communications team's purpose is to cultivate trust with different communities by communicating Mozilla's story to the press and other media. The team acts a mediator between the company and the wider public, helping users get to know Mozilla by maintaining transparent communication, while maintaining the positive and active voice unique to Mozilla.|
|Mozilla Developer Network|
|Team Lead: Ali Spivak||Mailing List: email@example.com|
|MDN's vision is a world where everyone developing for the web follows open standards.
MDN's mission is to provide developers with the information they need to easily build projects on the web platform.
|Engagement Project Management|
|Team Lead: Alex Costello||Mailing List: firstname.lastname@example.org|
|The Project Management Team consists of business partners who oversee the work and progress of an engagement campaign or program to keep it on track, on budget and moving through to delivery.|
