What will your session or activity allow people to make, learn or do?
Think, imagine, discuss. Can we use a P2P paradigm to create a much more direct and participative democracy? What would the pros and cons of such democratic system be? Does the current technology allows us to develop robust enough procedures to make them rightful ones?
How do you see that working?
Introductory presentation and brainstorming.
How will you deal with 5, 15, 50 participants?
The more the better! More ideas will come up and more perspectives will be taken in account. In case of mass assistance I'll organize group-based activities to encourage participation and collect all opinions.
How long within your session before someone else can teach this?
The explanation of basic points will probably take less than 30 minutes. The brainstorming will extend for at least another 90 minutes.
What do you see as outcomes after the festival?
People considering a new way to implement democracy and obtaining a better idea about how to come this into fruition.
