Stability
Nightly
awsy rate: 1.49 (browser: 0.76, content: 0.73) firefox nightly summary score: 5.46 (= √3(3.29 windows * 5.23 mac * 9.48 linux))
[marcia]
- Several new small volume regressions filed
- Several noticeable flash spikes are tracked in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1462996. Pretty doubtful anything will happen there.
- #5 overall top crash https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1462370 - this is the result of an assertion that was added
Beta
awsy rate: 0.60 (browser: 0.29, content: 0.32) beta summary score: 4.58 (= √3(4.00 windows * 3.52 mac * 6.83 linux))
[philipp] 61.0b7
- content crashes due to rdl: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1459997 - 5% of content crashes
* fix from https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1462497 requested uplifting; didn't (fully) solve the issue on nightly so far
Release
awsy rate: 0.65 (browser: 0.37, content: 0.28) firefox release summary score: 3.08 (= √3(2.59 windows * 2.25 mac * 5.01 linux))
- Nothing of note for release.
Mobile
awsy rate: release 0.41 - beta 0.61 - nightly 1.50
- Confirmed that we see crashes with users running the Developer Beta of Android P: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/search/?android_version=~27%20%28P%29&product=FennecAndroid&date=%3E%3D2018-05-17T07%3A50%3A32.000Z&date=%3C2018-05-24T07%3A50%3A32.000Z&_sort=-date&_facets=signature&_columns=date&_columns=signature&_columns=product&_columns=version&_columns=build_id&_columns=platform#facet-signature
- At least on beta I confirmed I can crash and get the crash reporter
- Release
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1453049 is in the top 20 crashes. Probably not much we can do about it.
- Nothing else new in the top 20 browser signatures
- Beta
- Early data still coming in for Beta 7 https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/topcrashers/?product=FennecAndroid&version=61.0b7&process_type=any
- Nightly
- Nightly rate has risen slightly due to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1463494. A fix is in progress for that bug.
- Issue with volume of submitted crashes being low has been resolved: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1462408
