Overview

These are the currently planned mozilla.com changes for the Firefox 3.6 release. Although the site will retain the overall 3.x look & feel, there are various page updates to cover the new features.

l10n Priority Scale

Priority 1: must localize
Priority 2: should localize, but not a disaster if it doesn't happen (i.e., existing page content will still be outdated but not inaccurate)
Priority 3: would be nice to localize, but not worth stretching resources to do so
Priority 4: don't localize

Customization [TARA]

Update graphic elements, copy and site layout.
Show off Firefox's personalization capabilities, highlighting Personas with a dynamic mini gallery of designs.
- For Firefox 3.6 users, scrolling over the designs will change the chrome. For non-Firefox 3.6 users, a dynamic mockup will illustrate how Personas can customize your chrome. Thus, a better way to show them what Personas can do, and why they should upgrade / change browsers.
