Future

This page will host information and discussion around the future of wiki.mozilla.org (hereafter referred to as WMO.)

Status

• WMO still actively used as community wiki for Mozilla project, housing valuable information on many Mozilla projects
• WMO is a valuable archive of information on the Mozilla project from the inception of the project to the present day

Challenges

• no active "owner" of WMO (no one person)
• many, many pages out of date with old/inaccurate/unchecked information
• volunteer localizers have no way of knowing whether a page should be localized or not
  • WMO should *not* be localized at all. DMO is a source of localizable Mozilla related resources. WMO is internal wiki for use of the project. No need to localize anything here.

Goals

• an updated WMO with timely and relevant information
• archive information properly archived
