  • DONE: (jswisher) Send a message to dev-mdc with a call-to-action on JS translations (Guide landing page and sidebar template strings)
  • DONE: (sheppy) Send a message to dev-mdc about improvements to the editor toolbar.

  • Please test the MDN staging server and file bugs under the django upgrade tacking bug. (See dev-mdn thread).
    • All areas need testing, so please just try stuff and see if you run into any problems.
    • Don't be timid! The database is separate from the standard MDN site database, so you can't mess up MDN by doing things on staging!
  • Please continue to add suggestions or requests to the etherpad set up for gathering ideas for updates to the MDN editor toolbar. Sheppy is continuing to gradually work on these enhancements.

Note items here that you want to be sure the community is aware of. We won't rehash what's listed here, but may raise and discuss questions about these items.

  • We have made decisions related to how to integrate compatibility information for new browsers (namely, Microsoft Edge), as well as a change to how we will handle iOS WebKit-based browsers in compatibility tables.
  • Web APIs docs meeting will be merging with the API dev team's weekly meeting with the tech evangelism team, since this will be more informative and better share information in this triad of groups that work together. We will also be moving the meeting to occur earlier in the day (and possibly on a new day). We'll announce soon once we finalize a time. Watch dev-mdc for updates.

Topics for Discussion

Are you facing a challenge with something related to MDN, or need help from others in the community? Please bring it up for discussion.

Anything else we need to discuss synchronously?

  • Who will moderate the next meeting?
