  • bug 1371291 - Autophone - use org.mozilla.gecko.SHUTDOWN and eliminate quitter - After testing on autophone-4 with Nexus 5 (Android 4.4) and Pixels (Android 7.1), finally landed a patch that was pretty green. Unfortunately, new crashes appeared on Nexus 4 (Android 4.2) and Nexus 6P (Android 6). This also appears to have caused a regression in Fennec S1S2 especially on Nexus 4 though GeckoView appears to have improved. I've left mozilla-release in testing with the expectation that the delays caused by the loss of Quitter and the unavailability of the shutdown extent will be minor on such a low volume repo.
