Who We Are

We are individuals who are passionate about Mozilla, the open web, and the many benefits of Firefox and its products,We are a global pack of do-gooders and dedicated defenders of the Web! Creative and resourceful, Community is a part of the backbone of the Mozilla project. As the Mozilla project grows in scope and scale, community needs to be strengthened and empowered accordingly. This is the central aim of the Mozilla Egypt Community: to empower and to help push responsibility to the edges in order to help the Mozilla contributor base grow.

What We Do

The Community exists to empower Mozilla's projects with Reps,FSA,Mozillians and volunteers by the tools and resources needed to:

  • Promote Firefox (Desktop , Android And IOS)
  • Educate others about Mozilla's mission
  • Teach the web and increase web literacy
  • represent Mozilla in their country/region
  • build on and support existing/future local community efforts and programs
  • inspire, recruit and support new contributors
