Requirements

• Re-work the design (images and messaging) of the current on-boarding tour to take into account feedback from our participant feedback (dScout cohort)
• Reinforce the sync proposition (allows us to engage with notifications as well)

User Stories

• As a Firefox iOS user, I want to be informed and welcomed on how I can leverage all important features that Firefox provides.
• As a new user, I want to learn how I can use Firefox accounts to keep all my information stored for easy access on all platforms
• As an existing user, I want to sync with my Firefox account to retrieve all information I've previously stored on my Firefox sync account.

  • Device: iPad Air (iOS 9.0.2), iPhone 6 (iOS 9.0.2)
  • Builds: 1107, 1109
    • Tests:
      • Start Firefox with a clean profile
        • First Run tour is presented PASS
      • Swipe between panels
        • The panels are swipeable and the text on the page is changed accordingly with the image that is displayed PASS
      • Check each panel
        • Each panel - Organize, Customize, Share, Choose, Sync Your Devices - displays the correct information PASS
      • Tap on 'Start Browsing'
        • First Run Tour is closed and the home screen is presented PASS
      • After closing First Run tour, restart Firefox
        • First Run tour is presented only when running Firefox for the first time, so, in this case it shpuld not be presented PASS
        • The First Run tour is presented
      • From 'Sync Your Devices' tap on 'Sign in to Firefox' PASS
        • The 'Sign in to Sync' page is open
      • Go to Firefox Settings > Support and tap on 'Show Tour'
        • First Run tour is presented
