The following is a list of things to be done to prepare for your event.

	Event Wiki	See template. Name using the date (ex. /Test_Days/20110325)
	Etherpad	See template. Name using the topic (ex. /mozmill-testday-110325)
	QMO Event	Click link to see template
	Mailing lists	Click link to see template
	Mozillazine	Post details to Firefox General forum
	Twitter	Tweet event with bit.ly link to QMO. See past tweets.
	Newsletter	Ask Mary Colvig to add QMO event to about:mozilla
	All-hands	Link QMO event from the week's Upcoming Events
	Moderators	Email QA@ to ask for moderators
Saturday Before
	Planet	Verify syndication of QMO event
	Facebook	Verify syndication of QMO event
Day Before
	Mailing lists	Reply to previous posts to reiterate timings and event link
	Twitter	Retweet event with bit.ly link to QMO. See past tweets.
	QMO Blog	Write a blogpost reminding about the event
Day Of
	IRC Topic	Change channel topic to title and bit.ly of QMO event
	IRC Spam	Ask other channels to join your channel once per hour until 2pm
	Twitter	Retweet event at the start and halfway points
Once Event is Over
	IRC Thanks	Thank everyone for participating and remind them of next event
	IRC Topic	Change channel topic to title and bit.ly of next QMO event
Day After
	QMO Results	Blog the results of the testday on QMO
	Twitter	Tweet link to results blog post
	Mailing lists	Reply to previous posts to thank contributors and link to results
	All-hands	Nominate contributors and moderators as friends of the tree
	Wiki link	Add your testday wiki page to Past Test Days

The following is a list of things to include on your event page.

Title should clearly and concisely spell out the activity
Open with some context to why the event is needed
Provide a call to action: We need your help with <some activity>
Emphasize a need for the help and that contributions make Firefox better
Indicate how the specific activity improves the quality of Firefox
List tasks to be performed during the event; include links to any bugs and tests you want the testers to help with
Provide a link to the builds
Provide a link to the IRC channel
End with an emphasis that people from all walks of life and experience can contribute; that we will be there to help and teach
Set the event date and time
Set the category to Events, QMO News, Syndicated and the team the event is specific to
Set a tag of "mozilla" and "qa"
Be sure to save draft and preview before publishing
