Release Management general goals

  • [lizzard] Follow up on the 43 dot releases postmortem(s)
  • [lizzard] Investigate Rust release process and plans, and make sure Release Management team is informed about them. Also, letting the Rust team know what to expect from RelMan. This will help us support integrating Rust code into Firefox releases
  • [lizzard] Investigate what it would take to set up and maintain a private mozilla-release repository & CI to start chemspills from.

  • [sylvestre] Onboarding Calixte
  • [sylvestre] Strategic plan: schedule and quality criteria
  • [ritu] Finalize a beta release checklist in Excel that can be used for automation
  • [ritu] Metrics driven release management - Get the Beta+Aurora uplifts dashboard ready, share with team and show on big screens in office locations.
  • [ritu] Define a release process and relnote plan for GoFaster updates.
