Please note that issues found in the final moments of the beta period may still require us to rebuild before release

Stability

Current Status

  • bug 839270 looks good in early manual b6 testing.

Outstanding Issues/Concerns

  • bug 839270 is the only major concern, will need to see stats of b6 and manual testing of final builds
  • PDF.js instabilities, mainly OOM, will need to be watched.

Mobile specific stability notes

  • Mobile looks good in rates, but we didn't get a few fixes we wanted (so we hope we can get better in the future).

QA

Current Status - Desktop

  • 19.0b6 ready to go live
  • Nothing on our radar blocking release

Outstanding Issues/Concerns - Desktop

  • Several UX/rendering/stability concerns with PDF.js
  • Does not block shipping PDF.js knowing we can hotfix if any of these issues become explosive
  • However, we'd feel more comfortable if the infobar was more aggressive (showed up more frequently or always)

Our main concern for 19 are the issues with pdf.js and financial institutes. We are prepared to monitor feedback vigilantly in the first few days to assess the impact.
