At Airport

Flight Arrivals/Departures

You can find who is arriving (& departing) immediately prior/next to you from this flight arrivals/departures table. Please make sure that your flight info is up to date.

Airport WiFi

You get first 15min free WiFi access at airport from KubiWireless' hotspots. Should help in Foursquare Checkins emergency contacts/cryouts, if you don't have Mobile Phone access.

From Airport

Getting from Barajas Airport to the hotel

You can find general information on Barajas International Airport (Madrid) here

Bus

EMT (Madrid Municipal Transport Company) runs regular public bus services between the airport and Madrid (Atocha Station or Cibeles (night bus)). The ride will cost you 5 EUR and will take about 60 minutes. If you're taking the bus during the day, get off at Atocha station (last stop) and then walk about 15 minutes to the NH to Radisson Blue. If you take a night bus, get off at Cibeles and walk 10 minutes to either the NH or Radisson Blue.

Taxi

If you want to take a taxi, it'll take you about 25 minutes and it will cost you maximum 30 EUR.

Metro

If you take the metro, it will cost you about 5 EUR and it will take you about 45 min. When you get off the plane and head towards th exit, look for the "Metro" sign and follow it. Oince you're at the metro station, feel free to ask at the information desk how to purchase a ticket or purchase one directly from one of the vending machines.

  • Option 1: Best for attendees staying at NH Paseo del Prado
    1. Take the line 8 metro from the Airport
    2. Change at Mar de Cristal to line 4 (going towards Argüelles)
    3. Change at Goya to line 2 (going towards Cuatro Caminos)
    4. Get off at Banco de Espana & take a walk.
  • Option 2: Best for attendees staying at Radisson Blu Hotel
    1. Take the line 8 metro from the Airport
    2. At last stop Nuevos Ministerios change to line 10 (going towards Puerta del Sur)
    3. Change at Tribunal to line 1 (going towards Valdecarros)
    4. Get off at Antón Martín & take a walk.

The Venue

Friday 30 August

The Council will meet for a last prep-meeting at the NH hotel from 10am - 6pm. All Council members should meet in the lobby of the NH at 9:45am and the meeting will begin at 10am.

Saturday & Sunday 31 August and 1 September

The second and third day of the camp will take place at the Madrid Hub co-working, a stone's throw from the hotel.
