I like the concept - perhaps something for the future if these "app tabs" kick off. Only, though as in the previous mock-up where the tabs where right at the very top in the title bar. Why? Not only do you get the Fitts's Law advantage of being able to throw your mouse to the very top of the screen to access the tab, but you can also edit the URL by doing the same thing | I like the concept - perhaps something for the future if these "app tabs" kick off.
