Firefox Cloud is essentially a new name for the collection set of browser features we've been loosely referring that allows you to as "next-gen sync". We've decided to use a new name becausequickly and easily access your full and personalized Firefox experience wherever you are, while "sync" is currently the technological infrastructure wewhether you're planning to use to support these featuresusing your phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, or television, sharing a device with your friends and neighbours, it does not encompass the full vision of what we have or using a public computer in mind. We feel that "Cloud" is more appropriate project name at this timea library or internet cafe.

We've been talking about a set of features around this general idea for a long time, loosely referring to it as the next generation of Firefox Sync.
