Follow the following simple steps to install an integrated calendar into Thunderbird.  This walk-through is intended for English speakers using Windows.


* Visit http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/.
* Visit the [http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar Calender Project Home].
* Under the blue "Lightning" section at the top of the page, click on the link that says "Windows".
* In the "Lightning" section on the page, click on the link that says the OS (Operating System) you are using (e.g Windows, Linux x86).
* Right click on the green "Install Now" in the middle of the page.
* You will reach the Lightning download page.
* Right click on the green "Install Now" on the page.
* Select "Save Target As" or "Save Link As" and select a temporary place to put the file.
* Select "Save Target As" or "Save Link As" and select a temporary place to put the file.
* Launch Thunderbird.
* Launch Thunderbird.
* In Thunderbird menu, click on Tools -> Add-ons.

* The Add-ons box will pop up.  From within the box click on the "Install..." button in the lower left hand corner.
