Linguistics graduate student at Stanford University, currently working on Faroese metrical phonology and case morphology. Interested in contributing translations for Faroese localization project. Familiar with linguistic and cultural context of the Faroe Islands; have conducted research at Faroe Islands University and in contact with several native speakers. Also long-term Firefox and Thunderbird user; aware of general neglect of Faroese in many translation projects as a small European language community (c.48,000 speakers).
