User Education/Get Started Screencasts

Screencasts are an engaging way to quickly show someone how a piece of software works. To help dive usage during and after the Firefox 29 release we want to create eight short screencasts - one for each of the topics in the get started article (home page, search, bookmarks, awesome bar, private browsing, customize, add-ons and sync). We also want to create localized versions of the customize, add-ons, sync and bookmarks videos in German, French, Spanish, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese (20 videos). For the rest of the videos and locales we'd like to localize the captions.

Goal

  • Create a series of short screencasts to help new Firefox users understand and use important features.
  • Supports: Get Firefox on a Growth Trajectory & Add Services to our Product Lines
