Introduction
We live in a strange world. On the one hand we should live in a democracy, on the other it is not looking like one.
There are a few attemps like occupy to change that. Participation is the keyword of the hopefully coming political age. But how? The weightiest argument of the opponents of participatory democracy is one simple fact. Noone can organize this in a globalized world.
So what to do? Keep the representative democracy? Revert the globalization? No, when facebook manages to organize the personal informations of billions of people, when google manages to sort the chaos of billions of websites, why it shouldn't be possible to manage and sort the ideas, opinions and decisions of billions of people?
I don't want to promise a wonder or a change, just because it's not in my power to do that. But this world keeps a lot of really creative minds. In the last years many "impossible" things suddenly got possible. Just because there were people who made them possible. Also this can get possible if all required minds work together.
What to do
- Find together
- Find out what a virtual Human Swarm should look like
- What posibilities may it have?
- What may be the tasks of it? (Point at problems, work out solution processes, decide what to do, ...)
- What may be the results of it's acting?
- Find out how it should be organized
- Design the architecture of a software realizing this organization
- Write the software
- Get it online
- Get users
- If the plan works, praticipate and change the world
