Rules & Requirements

You will be required to review other submissions and provide feedback. This gives you the opportunity to help fellow designers, coders, and remixers improve their skills.

Your submission will be evaluated on how well it matches these criteria:

  • The webpage is designed for a specific audience
  • Use of white space, combination of colors, and choice of fonts allow the users to navigate the webpage easily
  • Users find the webpage likable
  • Text is written and properly formatted using the paragraph, heading and strong elements
  • All tags are closed

Step 2: Participate in the competition

Register

Register for the competition in order to receive important information about competition changes and dates! Registration is free and easy - you only need a valid email address to enter.

Work on your submission

Use X-Ray Goggles to create a website with or about your favorite fictional characters!

Submit your work!

Submit your work by August 31st. And if you finish early, you can always edit and resubmit an even better version OR work on additional competitions!

Step 3: Coach your peers

Evaluation

Starting on September 7th, you will be assigned 3 submissions from your peers to evaluate. Did they make the mark? Why or why not? Help them learn from this experience!

Assessment

After your submission gets evaluated by your peers, you will rate the evaluations on their helpfulness. And they will rate the evaluations you did on their work!

Step 4: Earn Badges!

Users who score 11 to 15 points will receive the Fiction Invasion Bronze Badge! Users who score 16 to 20 points will receive the Fiction Invasion Silver Badge! Users who score 21 or higher points will receive the Fiction Invasion Gold Badge!
